Hi everyone thanks for the prayers for our son. He passed all his tests and he Graduates Bootcamp on Friday Arpil 24, 2009. Thanks for the prayers, but keep them coming he will need them. He leaves on the 26th for Texas for "A" school to get his training as a Military Police. We are not sure what is going to happen after that. We are very proud of Justin. The Shack
image

Wow!  I am almost finished reading the most awesome book!  It's entitled The Shack by William Paul Young.  You can buy it at Walmart for about $11.  It was recommended to me by a friend awhile ago.  Recently, I've heart a few others mention it, so I decided I would go ahead and get it.  It is truly a life-changing book.  It's fiction, but still life-changing.  Not only have I not been able to put it down, but after reading eight chapters, I decided to re-read it aloud from the beginning with my girls.  Find out more about it at www.TheShackBook.com.

I'm Spending Christmas With Jesus

" I'm Spending Christmas with Jesus this Year"

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world

   below,
With tiny lights like heaven's stars reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that
tear,
For I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
But the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas

   choir up here!
I have no words to tell you of the joy their voices bring,
For it's beyond description to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your

   heart.
But I am not so far away, we really aren't apart.

So be happy for me, loved ones, you know I hold you dear.
And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this

   year.

I'll ask Him to lighten your spirit as I tell Him of your love,
So pray for one another as you lift your eyes above
.
Please let your heart be joyful and let your spirit sing,
For I'm spending Christmas in heaven and I'm walking with
King.

I can't tell you of the splendor or the peace here in this

   place.
Can you just imagine Christmas with our Savior face to

   face?!

I sent you each a special gift, from our heavenly home

    above.
I sent you each a memory of my undying love.

After all, love is a gift more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.

Please care for, love, and keep each other, as my Father

   said to do.
For countless are the blessings He has for each of you!

So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear,
Remember, I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this

   year.

My Fiance'
image This is me with my fiance, Anthony.  My Mom took this picture in August 2008.  We were planning to get married in April or May of 2009, but now we're probably going to do it a little later, since Sarah's baby is due that month.  Not only will there be a lot going on with the baby being born, but Sarah is going to be my Maid of Honor.  So, I'll make sure everyone knows when we set the date!

Please email me!

Hi!  I found this in a very round about way...I am Joanne Carraway, Jimmy Carraway's daughter.  Which would make Carol Carraway my aunt.  I've never had a chance to meet any of you but I really would like to!  Please email me!  I cannot believe I found this website.  I'm even in a photo here with my mom and my brother Jimmy and our dad.

Clay Leonard Larrimore

We all need to keep Uncle Bunk in our prayers.  Last week he discovered he had prostate cancer.  He told me he was going to be fine because they caught it early.  The doctor was going to freeze it and then check him two weeks later to see if that worked or if they would have to give him treatments.  On Friday, June 13th, however, he began to

hemorrhage and he was admitted to the hospital.  He said he will be in the hospital for a week or more and would know more about what's going on with him in a few days.

Mom's Headstone

Curtis and I went to Tilghman Island to order Mom's headstone finally.  It's going to look really nice.  I got it in black and I'm having her picture put on it.  I sure am glad that I decided to get her picture done this past September.  That's the picture I'm using for the headstone.  They are also going to put "daughter of Mary Ann (Larrimore) Howard" and "granddaughter of Henry and Caroline Larrimore".  I couldn't bury her near her mother and grandparents so I wanted to make sure that future generations would know who she was related to.

After ordering the headstone we decided to go to Mom's grave.  To our surprise there was a white cross with silk flowers on it there.  There's no indication of who left it.  I called Uncle Jerry, but he said he didn't leave it.  I was so touched to see it there.  Anyone know anything about it?
