Please pray for Dad. Part of his bowel is closing up so he will be going into the hospital to have surgery on July 16th. We are getting home from vacation on July 12. After we get home, I will be making my way to Hagerstown. He is suppose to be in the hospital for 10 days. I will be staying in Hagerstown the entire time he is in the hospital, but I'm not sure how long I will stay after he gets home. His recovery is suppose to take about 6 weeks.
My Wedding Dress
Guess what?! Anthony and I are getting married. We haven't set a date yet, but we are shooting for April or May of 2009. Want a glimpse of my dress? Well, we weren't setting out to buy a dress. My Mom told me about a small wedding boutique that seemed to have really good prices. It was my first time to really even look at wedding dresses. But then something unbelievable happened! After looking through all the dresses, we noticed a rack in the back of the store that were on clearance. I saw one that I fell in love with, so I tried it on. It was the only dress I tried on. Not only was the dress my exact size, but it was only $175! God is so good! I only have to have it hemmed slightly. Okay, well here is just a glimpse of part of my dress. Tell me what you think.
Our Vacation
We'll be leaving for vacation on June 19, 2008 and will be returning on July 12, 2008. We are going to meet Kenny, Angie and the kids at Uncle Bunk's house in Georgia. Uncle Bunk and Debbie are taking us white water rafting. On June 24th we'll head to Meridian, MS from Georgia. We'll camp for three nights in Meridian. From there we'll head to Texas arriving on June 27th to visit with my mother's family. When we leave Texas we're going to take our time and stop to sightsee whenever we want. At some point on our way home we are going to stop to visit the Holy Land Experience in Orlando, FL.
